Roberto Bautista Agut and Borna Chorich in the top 8 of the Dubai tournament

The Spanish tennis player Roberto Bautista Agut qualified for his second quarter-finals this year after removing the Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert with 6:4, 6:7 (2:7), 6:1. Bautista Agut, who has been ranked number three in the Dubai tournament, struggles for nearly two and a half hours to take his opponent off.

The Frenchman, who is an outsider in this pair, fights for every point in the first set and then won the second with the tiebreak. But in the mandatory third set he seemed to have collapsed from the start and Bautista made two important breakthroughs - 2:0 and 4:0. After that, Pierre-Hugues Herbert returned a game, twice coming out of a match for his opponent. However, in the second game, the Spaniard closed the game by 11livematches to qualify for the second time in the quarterfinals after the Oakland tournament in January. In the next round, number 3 in the tournament will play with the Croatian Borna Coric, who defeated another Frenchman - Benoit Paire with 6:1, 6:4.

In the third meeting that has ended up with the program, the Japanese Yuichi Sugita removed Jan-Lennard Struff with 7:6 (4), 6:4. `I know I had to make a lot of effort, but I feel good, I`ve had so many chances to break through to the second set and not get to such a marathon, it`s not easy to play brilliantly, but I thinkI presented myself solidly!', said Bautista Agut.
