Some Arsenal players had blood poisoning

Arsenal has had some serious health problems before today`s clash with Bayern Munich, revealed the manager Arsene Wenger after the match.
The Gunners were outplayed for long periods of the match but managed to catch up deep into injury time, and then to win after a penalty shootout.
It turns out, however, that some of the players were with the virus, as Olivier Giroud and Per Mertesacker were dropped from the match via live soccer matches because of blood poisoning, and Sead Kolasinac, Aaron Ramsey, and Theo Walcott also did not feel well.
The probable cause for what happened was probably the heat, long flights and generally heavy conditions in Shanghai.
`Last night we had some big problems and I quite startled. Ramsey managed to finish the match, but Kolasinac, Wolcott, Mertesacker, and Giroud had blood poisoning. However, we do not know what causes that but the conditions were a shock to the players.`, said the Frenchman.
`It was really hard, but the tour has other advantages, such as the fact that we met our fans, and inside the team, the boys got closer to each other.`, added Wenger.
