Napoli`s coach, Maurizio Sarri, may be heading Chelsea next season. A number of media reported yesterday that his personal agent had arrived in London to negotiate with the leadership of the Stamford Bridge club. Luis Enrique is still a favorite for the post, but it will not be a surprise if Sarri replaced his compatriot Antonio Conte, who will certainly leave Chelsea. Napoli`s 59-year-old mentor has a clause in his contract that allows him to break him up against 8 million euros.
Sarri led Napoli in 2015, and this season has a real chance to bring the team to the title in the A Series. 4 rounds before the end, the souls are only lagging behind a point of champion Juventus. Chelsea was dethroned by Manchester City in England, and the chances of the team to finish in the top 4 are minimal. This, as well as Conte`s strained relationship with the leadership, makes the Italian impossible to remain.
