Yoshida will be missing more than a month

The Southampton defender Maya Yoshida will be out of the team for about five weeks due to a knee injury, manager Mauricio Pellegrino said before the Saturday`s Premier League match against Burnley. Japanese national Yoshida received the training trauma a day before the fifth round of the England-based soccer match against West Bromwich Albion last weekend. The defender will also miss the matches against Stoke City, Newcastle, West Ham, Arsenal and Chelsea. Southampton ranks 18th in the Premier League rankings with 26 asset points. `Ioshyda will not be able to play for at least four or five weeks, last week I said everything was okay and then three or four of the players were injured in the training, ` Pellegrino said at a press conference. Midfielders Steven Davis and Sophie Buffal also did not play against West Bromwich over injuries. `Perhaps Buffal will be included in the match adviced by pa rtners of live-stream for Burnley, but Shane Long and Davis will not be training for another week! ` the Argentinean added. Southampton has only one win in its last 14 games in the English Football Championship.
