Cristiano is going to pay money to the tax authorities in order to avoid jail

The goal leader of Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo will listen to his legal advisers and will play 14.7 million euros to the tax authorities, who accused him in the right amount of hidden tax, according to the press. However, the Portuguese footballer is not guilty and will cover the requested money to avoid the possibility of going to prison.
Such a thing had been done by other clients of Jorge Mendes, who had allegations of tax fraud raised: Fabio Coentrao, Ricardo Carvalho, Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria. The media claims that the payment of the amount before the first judicial day (31 July), can reduce a possible sentence in a half or at least 25 percent. The Spanish legislation provides for imprisonment between 2 and 6 years for a similar offense.
The Court is expected to request from Cristiano to pay a total of about 30 million euros if he is found guilty. According to the press, last year the footballer accumulated an income of 77.2 million euros.
