Red Bull will announce its separation from Newey, Germany reported.
The head of the Red Bull design bureau, Adrian Newey, has agreed on the terms of his departure from the team. According to F1-Insider, today, April 30, the Formula 1 champions may release a statement to that effect.
Red Bull will announce that it has reached an agreement to terminate Newey`s contract early. The agreement ran until the end of 2025 and included another year of forced leave. It was believed that the team could prohibit Adrian from working for competitors until the 2027 season.
The German publication reports that the agreement will allow Newey to join potential new employer Ferrari early and contribute to the development of the car for 2026.
